FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Got questions? Good. We like people who are curious about Corvettes.
WHAT IS CORVETTE RESCUE?
Corvette Rescue is about finding neglected, forgotten, broken, or simply unloved Corvettes and giving the right ones another chance. We evaluate them, rescue the ones that make sense, document the process, and get them back where they belong — on the road.
DO YOU RESTORE EVERY CORVETTE YOU FIND?
No. Not every Corvette can or should be saved. Some make sense as rescues. Others are better suited to become donors, providing parts that can help keep other Corvettes on the road.
DO YOU BUY CORVETTES?
Yes. If you have a Corvette that has been sitting, needs work, or simply needs a new home, we’d like to hear about it. Use our Contact page and tell us what you have.
WHAT GENERATIONS OF CORVETTES DO YOU RESCUE?
We’re interested in Corvettes from every generation. The car, its condition, its story, and whether there’s a reasonable path back to the road matter more than the year.
DO YOU SELL THE CORVETTES YOU RESCUE?
Some rescued Corvettes will eventually be offered for sale. Others may become part of Corvette Rescue in different ways. Either way, we want the history of every rescue documented so its story doesn’t disappear when the car moves on.
CAN I FOLLOW A RESCUE FROM START TO FINISH?
Absolutely. That’s a big part of Corvette Rescue. We’ll document the finds, inspections, decisions, repairs, successes, mistakes, road tests, and ultimately what happens to each car.
WHERE IS CORVETTE RESCUE LOCATED?
Corvette Rescue is being built in East Tennessee, surrounded by some of the best driving roads in the country.
WILL YOU OFFER CORVETTE RENTALS OR DRIVING EXPERIENCES?
That’s part of the plan. We’re working toward giving people the opportunity to experience a Corvette on the kind of roads it was built to drive. More information will be added as that part of Corvette Rescue develops.
HOW CAN I KEEP UP WITH WHAT YOU’RE DOING?
Follow Corvette Rescue on our social channels and check the website for new rescues, updates, videos, and whatever trouble we manage to get ourselves into next.
